Founded in 2015, Laundry Porter is focused on finding better ways to access dry cleaning and laundry services by providing alternatives to a traditional store based solution. This results in our customers saving time and effort which can now be spent with their family and friends or for themselves.

Gone will be the days of trying to find a parking spot near your local dry cleaners, wasting your lunch break to drop-off or pick-up your garments, and leaving work early so you can get to the store before they close.

Dry Cleaning

We offer a broad range of Dry Cleaning services including your delicate items such as silks and evening wear. Whether you require Dry Cleaning for your day to day work attire or for your special occasion, Laundry Porter will provide the convenience you need.


Shirts

Using state of the art technology, processes and high quality detergents, we clean and press your business shirts in a fraction of the time you would do at home. Keep an eye out for our 5 shirt specials.


We Deliver

Our friendly local porters pick up your garments and deliver them back within 48 hours so you dont have to worry about scheduling time to do this.


Online

Our solution involves a simple online registration, access to pricing online and the ability to contact us any time you require. Payments are made via our PCI compliant payment gateway.

How it Works


FAQs


  • General

  • When will you pick up my clothes?

    We will arrive between 11am and 3pm on the designated pick-up/drop-off days.

  • When will I receive my clean clothes back?

    Typically your order will arrive anytime between 11am and 3pm on the next designated pick-up/drop-off day each week. Sometimes we may need longer on particular garments, such as spending a bit more time on stubborn stains or completing some alterations you requested. If so, we will notify you when to expect your clothes back.

  • Where can I view the pricing?

    Once you have registered and have activated your account, you can view Laundry Porter pricing by logging into the members page.

  • How do I change my password?

    You have the ability to update your password. Simply log in to your account, then go to My Account and select 'Update Password'.

  • Forgot your password?

    Simply click the ‘forgot your password’ link on the login screen. You will receive an email to verify your identify and subsequently provide you the ability to create a new password.

  • I received a Notepad along with my bag, what is this for?

    Your notepad is your primary means to tell us your preferences and requests but also indicate whether there are stains and their location. This helps us to quickly identify your needs and gives every chance of returning your clothes stain free.

  • Invoicing & Payment

  • When will I receive an Invoice?

    Once we return back to base, we have an opportunity to review your garments and enter these details into our system. At this point you will receive an email confirming your order number, the number of garments and costs.

  • When will you take payment?

    Typically we will initiate payment within 24 hours of submitting your invoice . You will receive a receipt via email once payment is completed that will include your order number.

  • Is my Credit Card secure?

    Yes it is. Your Credit Card which was captured during registration, is stored to a 3rd party payment service that is Level 1 PCI-DSS Compliant. No sensitive data is stored on our servers.

  • I have a new Credit Card, how do I notify you?

    You have the ability to update your credit card on file. Simply log in to your account, then go to My Account and select 'Update Credit Card'. The last four digits of your current card on file will be listed, so click the 'update card' button to enter your new credit card details.

  • Garment Processing

  • I have a blue ticket hanging from one of my garments, what is this?

    Sometimes we are unable to remove stains from your garments safely, so this blue tag on your garment will indicate this.

  • Do you do Alterations and Repairs?

    Yes we offer an Alteration and Repair service. Pricing for these services are listed in your Laundry Porter members page. When requesting an alteration or repair, describe what you require on a page from the Notepad supplied and insert into the plastic id pouch located on your bag.

    As you are not visiting a store to be measured for specific alterations, you will need to describe these specifications to us - i.e. take my pants up by 5 cms or replace button on my shirt.

  • How long do Alterations and Repairs take to complete?

    Please allow up to 1 week for this service to be completed, although some alterations may be complete before the next scheduled drop-off day.

  • I’ve lost the id tag from my bag, what do I do?

    The tag on your blue bag helps us to identify your items from other customers. You will need to contact us as soon as possible and notify your business liaison so that we can ensure your items are correctly processed and returned back to you. We will organise a new tag that will be attached to your bag on return back to you.

  • I have some special requirements, what do I need to do?

    Simply describe your requirements on a page from the Notepad we have provided you and insert this page into your plastic id card pouch located on your bag.
